This is an online only self-study learning course with an optional final certification exam either on site at our Aylesbury Campus or which can be taken on your home computer using the Exams from Home scheme. This is ideal for people who want to formalise their Microsoft Word skills by achieving a recognised Microsoft qualification.

Specialist equipment

The course will require the use of a computer or laptop at home/workplace with Microsoft Office software installed. Acceptable versions are Office 2010, Office 2013, Office 2016 or Office 365. PLEASE NOTE that the course software and the exam certification application do NOT support Apple Mac.

Examinations

If you are looking to certify your skills with a Microsoft Certificate then to complete this qualification you will need to either sit an examination at our Aylesbury Campus or you can opt to take the exam on your home computer through the Exams from Home scheme. This scheme is run in collaboration with our Microsoft partner, Certiport and requires you to log into a virtual desktop from your home computer.You will be able to schedule the examination at a time and date which suits you.

Cancellation and refunds

Buckinghamshire College Group reserve the right to cancel this course at any time up to its start date. In this case a full refund of the course fee will be made, using the original payment method. You have the right to cancel your enrolment to this course and receive a full refund up to its start date. Once the course has started you will not be able to cancel your enrolment or receive a refund.
