BCG believes in enriching every student’s college experience, and during their second-year Final Major project we wish to provide opportunities to expand their horizons and gather primary research to underpin and support the great ideas and imaginative work that they will create. 

To that end, we are going on a trip to Oxford, which offers a range of stimulating exhibitions and displays, that being close together, mean that students can also take advantage of Oxford itself and it’s 1000 years of architecture. 

We plan to visit the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, Britain’s first public museum, and also the Pitt Rivers Museum, which has a collection gathered from around the world, but which is displayed in a different, but more interesting system, than most other colonial repositories. The Natural History Museum is just next door.
